Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using BigData processes.
• Focus on ingesting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets.
• Work closely with the data science team to implement data analytics pipelines.
• Maintain security and data privacy, working closely with data protection officers. 
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
• Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Understanding of Big Data Hadoop Ecosystem components (Sqoop, Hive, Pig, Flume)
• Knowledge of coding languages and data visualization tools.
• Experience with Hive, Pig & Map Reduce, and Hadoop ECO system Framework.
• Experience with HBase, Talend, NoSQL databases-Experience Apache Spark or other streaming big data processing preferred.
